ROCHESTER – Technology leaders and decision makers from across Michigan will meet in May for the Michigan Technology Leaders 2006 conference, a two-day showcase that will feature 30-minute private meetings between tech decision makers and solution providers.
The event is a non-political platform that will bring together only 125 attendees to network and do deals. Featured speakers include Information Technology outsourcing expert, author and former Senior Vice President of NASD/NASDAQ and former Vice President of Compaq Corporation, Wendell Jones, as well as Robert Austin, Associate Professor of the Harvard Business School. Austin will discuss, “The Future of IT Value Creation in the Global Economy.”
Others scheduled to speak include, State of Michigan CIO, Teri Takai, Quicken Loans CIO, Todd Lunsford, Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson, DTE Energy and CIO, Lynne Ellyn, the former head of Strategic Sourcing and Contract management for GM Information Systems and Services, Claude Marais and CIO.com columnist John Baldoni.
